Its no secret that the economy and market isn’t what it used to be, but there is some positive signs that a turnaround is near and there is still much money to be made in real estate, whether you want to flip houses for quick money or use your property to generate long-term income by renting to tenants. The Wall Street Journal reported today that Cap Rates – a calculation real-estate investors use to measure the annual return of income-producing properties – are on the rise and at the highest they’ve been since 2003! Couple this with Obama’s recent announcement that there will be a government spending freeze, things just might get back to “normal”!
